Whenever I'm craving cajun seafood, I head to... not Boiling Crab, not Kickin' Crab, not [insert present participle verb] Crab. Only Jumpin' Crab. Mainly because I don't want to wait two hours for a 45 minute meal. Whether I come with my boyfriend or a group of friends, regardless of the time of day, we've always been seated immediately. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. I've had friends comment on how fresh the seafood is here, and their Jumpin' Signature flavor is comparable to other house sauces. I would advise others to be cautious of the spice levels. I'm usually pretty tolerant of spicy food, but even their Spark (level 2) leaves my lips burning. (Note: they do offer .5 options if you're in between levels). I'm one of those weird people who doesn't like touching their food and getting their hands dirty, so I really appreciate that they have plastic gloves available upon request. They also have a hand wash station outside the restrooms.

My boyfriend and I finally decided to try this spot. We got the garlic noodles, flavored Cajun fries (spicy lemon pepper), and 2lbs. Crawfish and 1lb. Shrimp. The Cajun fries were skinny style fries. I tasted the lemon pepper but it wasn't spicy at all. As for the crawfish and shrimp boil, we got the signature with the second spicy level (Lips Tingling), but it was spicier than we expected. Especially since it was one step after Mild.... their spicy levels are definitely off. Fresh Crawfish is in season right now, so all of the crawfish we ate were pretty meaty. Delicious! The garlic noodles were pretty good. You have the option of adding chicken or shrimp for extra. Customer service was really good. The restaurant was pretty slow for a Friday. I would recommend people to give this place a try!

Came here with family and friends and loved how accommodating they were! We were just coming back from the beach with my dog and they allowed us to sit on the patio with him, even allowing me to ask for a bowl of water for him! Food was good, ambiance was chill, and they really did all they could to accommodate us! One star down only because the three boil options they offer could allow a little greater customization for those who might want more variety when they pay for a larger boil.

Yaaaaaay a Cajun Shrimp/Crawfish/Crab restaurant opened up closer to my home in Huntington Beach. Hubby and I wanted some cajun seafood so I headed to Jumpin' Crab because of their good Yelp reviews. The restaurant is located in the same mini mall on Beach Blvd. where the Vietnamese market and Pho Vie is located. Jumpin' Crab is huge inside .... plenty of inside seating and a private room for any parties and a huge outside patio with plenty of free parking. The inside decor is modern and has a festive feel. The restaurant offers all of the cajun seafood, several types of pho (i.e. crawfish pho), hotpot and rice dishes. I spoke to the server who informed me that they had fresh crawfish ..... another yaaaaay! So, I ordered a lb. of crawfish and a lb. of shrimp in the Jumpin' Crab signature sauce in "inferno" flavor for my to-go order. While I was waiting for my order, I chatted with my server and the general manager who told me that their sauce is very different from the other Cajun places. So, I was excited to try my shrimp and crawfish in their signature sauce. They run specials every month and this month is 20% off their hotpot and a Vietnamese rice dish. I'll be back to try their dungeons crab hot pot. Plus, the manager told me that their shrimp garlic noodles were featured in the Orange County Newspaper. I got home and I set up our meal spread for hubby and I. My server packed everything we needed. Our shrimp, crawfish, butcher table paper, bibs, gloves, lots of napkins, limes and pepper. So, hubby and I started to eat our meal and I was pleasantly SURPRISED to find that my crawfish were so large. You know when you are always disappointed when you get several of those tiny baby crawfish which are not even worth cracking open? Well, at Jumpin' Crab, all of my crawfish were medium to large sized. WOW, that has never happened to me! Also, our cajun shrimps were plump, large, fresh and delish! Hubby and I enjoyed our large tasty shrimps and crawfish in a delectable sauce. I can't wait to dine in to try their other dishes with Hubby. Jumpin' Crab offers large fresh crawfish and shrimp in a very tasty sauce with very friendly and attentive service. I had a 5 star experience!

First impression- Really clean Modern music and some 90's is played the entire time which is nice, We had the bulls eye which I've had before and fry myself at home, they were exactly how I make them. The Garlic Noodles were delicious, perfect amount of garlic for me, I think they added some cheese, which is good. We had the jumpin combo 3 with the choice of lobster 2lbs of craw fish and 1 lb of clams. It came with a WHOLE lobster, and the size of the clams were exceptional! Very large. For the price it was definitely worth it, we ended up getting the same thing Togo, but with the crab instead. The staff is a completely separate thing. They were very attentive! They made sure you had everything you needed. Lastly the owners, She was such a sweet lady that helped us with the sauces and conversed very well. We got the jumping signature with spark. Delicious. I honestly didn't have anything to complain about, One of the Friendliest owners I've met. It's a pretty large restaurant too. A great experience

Came in for lunch and we shared the jumpin 2 combo with lobster, clams, and shrimp. Oh my it was so good, but very spicy!!! We ordered their special sauce and the Fire spice... wow that was HOT!!! Next time I'll order less spiciness. The garlic shrimp was also very good! Very very garlicky! Just the way we like it. The corn, potatoes and the sausages with the crab boil were cooked perfectly! The shrimp, clams and lobster were tender and juicy too! We will definitely come back!

First timer here and honestly it was amazing!! I shared the jumpin combo one with my bf. We got 2 lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of crawfish. + 2 sausage, 2 corn & 2 potatoes. I was super hungry and I honestly thought it wouldn't be enough food. Haha who am I kidding? It was plenty. I got sparks level of spiciness and it has a great kick to it. My mouth was burning a little but damn it was good! Not salty like other places! Very flavorful! It was an even level of the jumpin signature flavor with the spice level I chose! Mmm yum! For 42$ that was a great deal!! There was hardly anyone there but waiter was super nice! She checked up on us frequently before her shift ended! I wish I got her name. Anyways, our food came our like 5-10 mins after we ordered so there was no wait at all!! I highly recommend this place! They do have happy hour from 2-7 so check them out! I got free crepes from the manager himself which was super cool! Thank you!! Service was great, food was amazing! We couldn't even finish our food haha overall great first time experience will be coming back '

I went here about a week ago with my mom and brother and we all loved it. We got: -shrimp in their jumpin signature sauce (medium spice, also called sparks): simply amazing and when they say that the sauce is lips tingling, which is what they describe it as, they aren't lying to you. -crawfish, also made the same way: we forgot it wasn't in season, so overall not good, because there was also the fact that the sauce did not seep into the crawfish, so it wasn't as flavorful. -spicy lemon pepper wings: I normally don't like lemon pepper wings because they are normally way too salty at other places, but they made it to my liking, however, I wanted it a bit more spicy. There was also a bed of fries under the wings, which was a plus. Overall, their food was good, and they have a very attentive staff.

Decided to try this place out because it's new and near my home. I love the layout and look of this restaurant! It's really clean as well. Their fries are reallyyy crispy, A+ for that :) The crawfish was fresh and their Jumpin Signature sauce was yummmy. Their chicken wings were good but the flavor of the wings were barely distinguishable from one another. Had a dozen oysters and they were honestly just ehhh, I got sick of them after awhile and some were chewy?? But I really like the concept of their beer samplers, it was awesome to have a variety at once. Our server was friendly and made our first time great. I will be back the next time the crawfish cravings hit, but will probably pass on the oysters.

Hana you are hands down THE BEST SERVER EVER. Hana made my group's first time experience at Jumpin' Crab one of the best. She genuinely recommended the best items on the menu and if we were not sure of something she would bring us samples to try (even beer!) before we made commitments to order. When it came to an item that wasn't fresh that day, she let us know and suggested we substitute it for a fresher seafood item. That's seriously going above and beyond. If that wasn't already amazing service, Hana brought us complimentary bread to dip into the sauce and gave us a great discount off on our visit for "being great customers". Now onto the food: +Oysters: SO FRESH. We ordered two dozen because Hana told us they were extremely fresh that day. Pretty good price too compared to other places. +Crawfish & Crab: I definitely recommend the king crab, there is so much delicious meat inside that thing, great quality. Crawfish season is on right now so they are fat and meaty. Sauce is great, I wanted a mild but I was sharing with a friend who loved extra spicy. I told Hana I could probably do a medium and she suggested the "Spark" level which she claimed was mild-medium. To be honest, it was more in the high medium for me but I took it like a champ. I love the signature sauce, to me it is equivalent or could be better than the Boiling Crab whole-shabang sauce, but that is just MY OPINION. My guy friends still prefer the BC sauce because they liked that it has more garlic and is saltier. The Jumpin Crab sauce is sweeter, which is why I love it. +Wings: SO GOOD. Liquid Lava is technically the same sauce as their signature sauce but it is sweeter on the wings. If you love spicy/sweet, I recommend that sauce. It comes with a heaping load of fries, SO WORTH THE MONEY. Way better deal than Buffalo Wild Wings (on a non-Tuesday). The cajun dry rub is great too, I love the way they fry their wings, nice and crispy on the outside. Overall, 5 stars!
